Mark McClure founded ResFrac Corporation in 2015 to help operators maximize value through application of advanced geomechanics and reservoir simulation. Previously, Mark was an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering and earned a PhD in Energy Resources Engineering at Stanford University. Mark has been honored with several awards, including: Best Paper in Geophysics from the SEG, the Hank Ramey Award from Stanford University, and SPE Regional Awards for Young Member Outstanding Service and for Completions Optimization and Technology. Mark has been recognized as an outstanding reviewer by SPE Journal, SPE REE, Journal of Geophysical Research, and Geology.
