This presentation will be discussing the development of hard rock and salt storage caverns, particularly salt caverns in Alberta. The presentation will also cover the selection of project locations as well as site geology for both hard rock and salt cavern types, and conclude with a review of the cavern construction process including development plans, monitoring requirements, and integrity testing.
