Luigi is an undergraduate student with a major in chemical engineering and a minor in energy and environment engineering. He is currently on internship with Canadian Natural Resources Limited, where he spent the summer of 2022 operating in a heavy oil field near Wabasca, Alberta. He has transitioned into a position within CNRL’s downtown office to monitor methane emissions while maintaining production in the field. Luigi is excited to join PES as VP Internal. His main goal for the academic year is to bridge the gap between the industry and university through the development of student-led tours and events that convey the importance of sustainable engineering in an interesting and captivating manner. Outside of school, Luigi enjoys playing hockey and baseball, hanging out with his dog, and playing guitar.
