Elsa is an Education/French student interested in expanding and diversifying her professional network and adding to her knowledge of the Petroleum energy sector. Through her involvement with PES, she hopes to lend a unique voice and contribute to the multidisciplinary nature of the club. Inspired by her background in education, Elsa is interested in reducing energy poverty, specifically for schoolchildren in developing countries. Throughout her time at the University of Calgary, Elsa has always striven to be as involved in the campus community as possible, with affiliations including the Education Students’ Association, UCalgary Students’ Union, Scholars’ Academy, and most recently, the Calgary Senate. In her spare time, Elsa enjoys studying foreign languages, exploring coffee shops in and around the Calgary area, and attending stand-up comedy events.
